Michele Goes BOLD

Behind the Redwood Curtain, in the North Coast of California, lies a hidden gem known as Access Humboldt. When I moved to Eureka 25 years ago, I wanted to learn more about my community, beyond the beautiful scenery,  I watched and listened to local media—print, broadcast, you name it.  Something was missing.  Years passed.  One day, I came across Access Humboldt via a broadcast of a public sector meeting.  I wanted to learn more about Access Humboldt,--its mission, vision and goals. however few could assist me.  So--I did my own research and decided I wanted to become more involved.  I applied , and was accepted, to become a member of its Board of Directors.

To paraphrase a beloved children's story: 'Access Humboldt is the little engine that does'. , but it needs help.  Mine, yours, the community's. I encourage everyone to 'get involved' by supporting the BOLD Day of Giving.
