Jane Goes BOLD

I love the local nonprofit organization, Access Humboldt. It provides a commercial-free platform for free speech and tells important stories about local people, places, and events. Access Humboldt operates a community media center that anyone can use to create and distribute news and information via television, podcasts, live streaming, and radio productions. 

I have been a board member and volunteer with Access Humboldt since 2017. I am involved because democracy thrives when community members utilize Access Humboldt media resources to engage in meaningful conversations that increase participation in civic life.

Local governments, educational institutions, and community-based organizations find Access Humboldt’s services to be indispensable.
