Lagniappe Fund

Many giving days across the country have a “stretch fund”, and the Lagniappe Fund is the GiveNOLA Day’s stretch fund. Every donor is given the opportunity to donate to the Lagniappe Fund when making their donations for GiveNOLA Day.

At the end of the event, every nonprofit who received a donation will receive a proportional share of this fund based on its percentage of the total dollars raised. The equation to calculate lagniappe dollars is:

Amount a nonprofit raises ÷ amount raised by ALL nonprofits for GiveNOLA Day = their Lagniappe Fund percentage
