BOLD Day Of Giving 2026

The BOLD Day Of Giving aims to raise $100,000 regionally as Humboldt County's Non-Profits collaborate through resource sharing, and a BOLD spirit to forge ahead in the current local economy.   

Access Humboldt is your local Public Access, Educational, and Governmental Cable TV Community Content Creation Center and LPFM Station (KZZH 96.7 FM).  Our mission is rooted in lifting local voices through community-made TV & Radio.  Access Humboldt is using their channels to elevate and empower fundraising regionally because we believe that TV & Radio should be a force for good, benefiting our community.  We choose to use our channels to inspire, inform, uplift, and support Humboldt County with BOLD Day Of Giving because a rising tide lifts all boats.

Using the practice of Micro-philanthropy (many smaller donations benefiting an Organization) paired with Marco-philanthropy (several larger donations benefiting many Organizations), we aim to inspire all of Humboldt's people and businesses to get involved and GO BOLD on May 29th.  When you join us as a Match-funding Partner, collaborating Non-Profit, Donor, or Individual Fundraiser, YOU are creating resilience for Humboldt County's 501c3 Programs that provide services and improve the quality of life for Humboldt County's residents.

Humboldt has always taken care of their own, and we will continue to have each other's back, but sometimes that is not enough.  Sometimes we need help from neighboring areas and partners who can spare some resources to help out a rural community. We hope to inspire our neighbors and national brands to step up for Humboldt, helping us fill the gaps left by the loss of Federal funding and an economic downturn in our local economy.
